Short Description: The City of Dodge City is accepting applications a full-time Maintenance Worker I in the Athletic Field Maintenance Division. This position performs manual labor in grounds keeping and maintenance of sports facilities, turf, maintenance of equipment, and other duties as assigned. Duties require ability to professionally interact with citizens and to operate various types of equipment including mowers, power and hand tools, and trimmers. Weekend hours required during summer ball season, with overtime potential.
The wage for this position is $17.85 per hour. This position includes full benefit package, including health and dental insurance, KPERS retirement, vacation, sick leave and holidays. Position works a minimum of 40 hours per week and is classified non-exempt (hourly). Up to a 5% bilingual pay incentive is available through post-hire bilingual testing.
