Full Description: EMPLOYMENT QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional).

Experience:

2 years of IT Support Experience.
Proven experience in providing technical support in an educational setting.
In-depth knowledge of computer hardware and software.
Experience Active Directory and Window Remote Client.
Experience with the Google Admin Console.

Exceptional ability to provide technical support and resolve queries.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to determine IT needs and train end-users.
Ability to keep up with technical innovation and trends in IT support.

Attention to detail, to document comprehensive inquiries, complaints, and comments.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Technical Support:

Field incoming help requests from end users via both telephone and the ticketing system to provide prompt and effective technical support to school district staff and students.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, and software issues to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with end-users to understand and address their technology-related needs.

Hardware and Software Maintenance:

Perform regular maintenance and upgrades on computer systems, including installing patches and updates.
Conduct hardware and software inventory assessments to ensure accurate records and optimal performance.

User Training and Documentation:

Training end-users on new software through a variety of tutorial channels, including self-guided training videos, user manuals, and digital instruction pages.
Create and maintain user-friendly documentation for common technical issues and solutions.
Foster a technology-aware culture within the school community.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with teachers, administrators, and other staff to understand their technology needs.
Collaborate with IT team members to implement technology initiatives and projects.
Communicate effectively with end-users and provide timely updates on issue resolution.
Communicate with the secretary on low stock levels.

Emergency Response:
Respond to technology-related emergencies promptly and efficiently.
Collaborate with emergency response teams to ensure the continuity of critical technology systems during unforeseen events.

Performs other duties as assigned.
